The question above might have made you think of an interesting experience you’ve had and for a deaf it is an even more thrilling experience to be able to find someone who understands sign language.
This year’s International Day of Sign Language has the theme: Sign Language Unites Us.
More than 70 million deaf people and others around the world use sign languages to communicate. Sign language allows them to learn, work, access services, and be included in their communities.
To celebrate this event, Simbed Learners School is inaugurating a Sign Language club to help her students build appreciation for the language and learn to communicate with the deaf.
